Physics 30 is a comprehensive introduction to foundational concepts in physics. Students will study how and why objects move in both straight and circular paths.
Students will learn about conservation laws, analyze collisions between objects and work with electric and magnetic fields. They will be introduced to the fields of Quantum Mechanics, Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, Nuclear Physics and Radioactivity.

Students have the option to enroll in the Physics 30 live broadcast synchronous course OR the Physics 30 online asynchronous course.
Live broadcast synchronous: students attend a live broadcast at a specific time, every school day. If you're interested in enrolling in the synchronous course, please review the live broadcast details and schedule.
Online asynchronous: students can take Physics 30 anywhere, anytime.

This course requires a final exam to be supervised by a proctor
What is a proctor?Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses to Saskatchewan students who choose to study online. We empower students and families to choose the learning environment that works best for them, while supporting their graduation plan.
