What Will I Learn?

  • You will learn individual and team goal setting, leadership and team building, sportsmanship and fair play.

  • You will also learn technical hockey skills, on-ice drills, offensive and defensive tactics, fitness and strength conditioning and video analysis.

  • This course can be adapted for goalies, upon request to your teacher.

  • You are required to be part of a hockey team, have access to ice-time and a coach. Your coach will need to complete an evaluation early in this course and provide feedback throughout the season.

  • As this course requires you to video yourself in on-ice sessions both in practices and games, it is very important that you manage your time effectively. It is also important that you get your on-ice activities completed early in the season so you have avoid having to complete this work during playoffs.
