This course covers advanced hairstyling, skin care, and nail care techniques from a salon/spa perspective.
Note: Hairstyling and Esthetics 20 is full for the 2024-25 school year and those on the waitlist will be notified if a spot becomes available. Registration for the 2025-26 school year opens March 3.
Building upon the skills learned in Hairstyling and Esthetics 10, you will delve deeper into the intricacies of hairstyling, skincare, nail care and makeup artistry. You will advance your technical skills while nurturing your creativity.
You will learn barbering skills, elements of design in hairstyling for short and long hair, buns, braids and roller-sets.
You will further expand your knowledge of products, tools, and techniques essential for excelling as a professional in the industry. By combining hands-on practice with theoretical learning, you will refine you abilities in providing high-quality services to clients while upholding the highest standards of safety and sanitation. You will also learn about career, apprenticeship and certification opportunities within the industry.
Note: Hairstyling and Esthetics 20 is offered in Semester 1 or Semester 2 courses, there is no year-long course option available.
