This course will expand your understanding of measurement and introduce you to trigonometry. You will begin learning about factoring, which is an important concept in upper level high school math courses.

What Will I Learn?

You will learn about measuring a variety of shapes and objects, using sine, cosine and tangent ratios for missing sides and angles as well as the properties, equations and relationships of linear functions.

This course is designed to provide students with the mathematical understandings and critical thinking skills needed for Foundations of Mathematics 20 and Pre-Calculus 20. Any student planning on attending post-secondary programs should register in this course.
