You will learn about in-depth budgeting, bankruptcy, behaviour finances and macroeconomics, financial planning and investing, while exploring buying versus leasing and what you need to know about home purchases and mortgages.

What Will I Learn?

You will create an informed personal budget and will learn the importance of decision making as it applies to finances, information security, maintaining accurate financial records and the concept of interest.

Complex financial issues and decisions will be addressed, including situations you may already face or are likely to as you in the coming years. Topics such as home ownership, debt management, purchasing and leasing property including vehicles, and planning for the future (education and retirement) will be covered, all of which are part of the lifelong financial journey. 

This course covers key areas including, earning, saving, spending, borrowing, sharing, investing and protecting.
