Financial Literacy 20

Students will learn about earning, saving, spending, borrowing, sharing, investing and protecting. This will help them develop skills needed for financial well-being, helping them prepare for earning an income and managing their finances effectively. Students will also explore potential financial career paths.

This course has a dual credit option with Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

What Will I Learn?

This course introduces financial issues and decisions that students may already face and address topics such as the purpose of money, the importance of decision making as it applies to finances, information security, budgeting fundamentals, contracts, maintaining accurate financial records, the concept of interest and career opportunities.
