You will learn about the royalty structure for the energy industry, the uses of petroleum products and the processes involved in refining and managing oil and gas resources. This course also examines the local and global economic impacts of the oil and gas industry while exploring career opportunities in the energy sector.

50 hours of online theory
50 hours of work placement coordinated by Sask DLC
All students, parents and mentors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our work placement information.
We will do our best to find a local work placement; however, we may not be able to accommodate placements in all situations, and/or some travel may be required.

What is a proctor?Students are responsible for any necessary workplace attire/materials (i.e. steel-toed work boots, coveralls, etc.)
