You will explore thoughts, beliefs and assumptions as they examine the search for self and how they relate to others.

This course also has a dual credit option with the University of Regina and Athabasca University.

What Will I Learn?

You will consider who you are, how you relate to others, how you develop you individual identity. You will further explore what kind of identity you wish to create for yourselves, and how you respond to joys, inspiration, doubts and fears. You will examine, critique and question the society in which they live and consider the actions you can take to create the kind of society in which you'd like to live.

Online Live Class OR Asynchronous Course

You have the option to enroll in the ELA B30 asynchronous live class course OR the ELA B30 online asynchronous course.

  • Synchronous Live Class: you attend a live online class taught by your teacher at a specific time, every school day. If you're interested in enrolling in the ELA B30 a synchronous course, please review the synchronous live class details and schedule.

  • Online Asynchronous: you work through your online course on a flexible learning schedule, with online support from your teacher.

Note: For students who began Grade 10 after September 2024 (Sask Grad Plan), you can choose either ELA A30 or ELA B30 to meet your ELA 30 requirement. Students who began Grade 10 prior to September 2024 (Regular Grad Plan), continue to need both ELA A30 and ELA B30 to graduate.
