This course explores identity, the diversity of being, social responsibility and social action, justice and fairness, while teaching the skills of effective communication of your thoughts and ideas through written and oral mediums.
You will study a variety of short stories, poems, plays and novels as you examine the view of justice and fairness, rights and responsibilities and the diversity of individuals and communities. You will strengthen and build confidence in your own creative skills and you create original visual, multimedia, oral and written texts.
Note: This course is for students who began Grade 10 prior to September 2024 (Regular Grad Plan) and is only available in the asynchronous course. Those who began Grade 10 in September 2024 or later are advised to take ELA A10 online either in the live synchronous or asynchronous course.
