Computer Security 30L is designed to help students develop the technical skills required to securely establish, maintain and troubleshoot business networks.

Students will learn about the latest security tools and techniques and develop knowledge and skills to assess the security of an organization, monitor and secure cloud, mobile, and internet of things (IoT) environments, understand laws and regulations related to risk and compliance, and identify and respond to security incidents.
Students who complete Computer Security 30L will be prepared to write the CompTIA Security+ certification exam SY0-601. CompTIA Security+ certification is the industry standard for entry-level IT jobs.
