Building on the knowledge gained in Autobody A20, students will be exposed to refinishing and repair techniques.
Sask DLC coordinates the work placement at a local dealership.
Students will study specific components of a vehicle and learn how to properly maintain, assess, and repair damage. Students will also gain a basic understanding of the time and cost associated with various autobody repairs. There is a continued emphasis on workplace safety practices
Autobody B20 consists of:
50 hours of online theory
50 hours of work placement coordinated by Sask DLC
Work placements provide students an opportunity to see if a trade might be right for them. This is only possible with the support of our partner Saskatchewan Association of Automotive Repairers.
All students, parents and mentors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our work placement policy.
We will do our best to find a local work placement; however, we may not be able to accommodate placements in all situations, and/or some travel may be required.
Travel is at the student’s expense. If you have questions about work placements or Sask DLC courses, email [email protected] or call our main office at 306-252-1000.
