What Will I Learn?

Accounting 10 will introduce you to the world of accounting. The course will begin with content related to accounting basics, forms of business ownership, accounting in your personal life, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAPs). You will also learn about the importance of employee wellness and explore accounting career options.

In addition, the course will focus on the accounting cycle of a retail business. You will be introduced to foundational topics including the accounting equation, debit and credit transactions, journal entries, the general ledger, financial statements, and adjusting and closing entries.
